BUYER PROTECTION

Customer Rights & Payment Safeguards

Global-grade payment infrastructure. Dual compliance framework. Institutional-level dispute resolution.

Third-Party Payment Processors

Student One Causal Networks Private Limited is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with PayPal Holdings, Inc., Numerai LLC, or any other third-party payment processor or financial institution referenced herein. We utilize their services as independent customers under standard merchant agreements. Alternative settlement options including NEFT/RTGS/IMPS are available for domestic institutional clients operating under RBI regulatory frameworks.

Payment Infrastructure

All transactions processed through Student One utilize global-grade digital payment rails subject to internationally recognized protection frameworks.

01

Purchase Protection

Payments routed through PayPal are covered under their Purchase Protection policy — ensuring buyers receive what they paid for or get their money back.

02

Seller Accountability

We operate under PayPal's Seller Protection Framework, maintaining transaction records, delivery confirmations, and service completion attestations.

03

Dispute Resolution

Global dispute resolution timelines enforced by payment processor. Chargebacks, claims, and appeals handled through established arbitration infrastructure.

04

Fraud Safeguards

Anti-fraud monitoring, unauthorized payment detection, and identity verification protocols inherited from payment processor security infrastructure.

Product Definition & SKU Integrity

Every product we offer is a discrete, mathematically-defined SKU with explicit scope, methodology, and deliverables.

Why This Matters for Disputes

In the event of any payment dispute, chargeback, or refund request, our products are fully differentiable from one another. Each SKU contains:

  • Explicit mathematical scope and parameter domains
  • Defined deliverable format and delivery timeline
  • Clear methodology documentation
  • Unambiguous exclusions and limitations
  • Cryptographic delivery attestation

This granularity allows any third-party evaluator — including payment processor dispute teams — to assess algebraic and methodological consistency against product specifications.

Dual Compliance Framework

Buyer protection operates at two independent layers — our internal policies and external payment processor safeguards.

Payment Processor Protections

  • PayPal Purchase Protection
  • Chargeback Rights
  • Unauthorized Payment Claims
  • Resolution Center Access

Dispute Resolution Process

Minimal Dispute Surface Area

In the event of a dispute, both Student One and the client may retrieve the deliverable file from the client's MFA-secured bucket and submit it for third-party evaluation. This is the only scenario where report contents may be shared externally.

Algebraic inconsistencies are the sole grounds for methodology-related disputes. If our mathematical output contains demonstrable errors against stated specifications, the dispute is valid.

Time-related SLAs require no file copies. Our delivery policy is crystal clear: delivery within X hours of data receipt (per SKU specification), or automatic refund. Timestamps are immutable. No arbitration required.

1

Direct Resolution

Contact us first at support@studentone.tech. Most issues resolved within 24-48 hours.

2

Formal Dispute

If unresolved, file through payment processor's Resolution Center with transaction details and concern description.

3

Evidence Review

Both parties submit documentation. We provide SKU specifications, delivery attestations, and methodology compliance records.

4

Arbitration

Payment processor evaluates evidence, assesses algebraic/methodological consistency, and renders binding decision.

Mathematical Dispute Resolution

Our products are mathematical research outputs with precisely defined scope and methodology. In any dispute scenario:

Algebraic Consistency: Every deliverable can be evaluated against its stated mathematical framework for internal consistency.

Scope Compliance: Parameter domains, asset coverage, and methodology are explicitly documented and verifiable.

Reproducibility: Our science is transparent. Any qualified quantitative evaluator can assess deliverable-to-specification conformance.

ε

Floating-Point Tolerance: IEEE 754 floating-point arithmetic introduces inherent precision limits. Minor numerical discrepancies (typically <10⁻¹² relative error) are not algebraic errors — they are fundamental constraints of computational mathematics. Humanity does not yet possess fault-tolerant hardware for arbitrary-precision real arithmetic at scale.

Institutional Settlement Options

For institutional clients, alternative settlement mechanisms are available via traditional banking rails.

NEFT / RTGS / IMPS

Direct bank transfers for domestic institutional clients. RBI-regulated with standard transaction protections.

SWIFT Wire Transfer

International wire for offshore institutional clients. Bank-mediated dispute channels. Available for all jurisdictions.

UPI

Disabled. UPI settlement is not available to prevent retail abuse and maintain institutional-only client base.

Contact sales@studentone.tech for settlement method selection and banking details.

Protected. Documented. Defensible.

Every transaction through Student One is backed by global payment infrastructure, internal compliance frameworks, and mathematically-verifiable product specifications.
