Correspondence Policy

All product communication must be in writing. No exceptions.

Student One operates in a highly regulated domain. To protect both our clients and ourselves, we keep all product-related communication strictly in writing.

1. No verbal product discussions

  • We do not discuss product specifications, methodologies, internal workings, or numerical results over phone calls, video calls, or in-person conversations.
  • You may speak with our founder or our team in a non-working capacity (introductions, logistics, etc.), but all substantive questions about the product must be handled in writing.

2. Email as the only working channel

All requests, clarifications, and questions about:

  • research specifications,
  • constraints and thresholds,
  • data handling,
  • and service levels

must be sent by email to the official addresses listed on our website.

Our replies to those emails are the only binding record of what we have said about the product.

3. No methodology beyond published policies

  • We do not explain or expand on our methodology outside of what is already written in our policies, technical notes, and service-level commitments.
  • If it is not written in those documents or in an email from us, you should assume we have not said it.

4. No views on profitability

  • We neither declare, imply, nor take a view on whether any statistical pattern we report will be profitable in live markets.
  • Our reports are descriptions of mathematical phenomena in your historical data under the constraints you defined.
  • You pay us for the computation and the documentation of those phenomena, not for any expectation of financial outcome.

5. Corrections and disputes

  • If you believe there is an algebraic or procedural error in a delivered report, please refer to our Refund Policy for how such cases are reviewed and, where appropriate, corrected.
